Are the bikes at Walmart any good?

Just wondering if anyone has purchased any bicycles from Walmart and if they where any good? I’m in the market for a new bike and the prices are pretty good at Walmart…I don’t really do off roding..I just ride my bike in the park and around the city.

No, Nada, Zip. Pure junk. How else can I put it? Oh yeah… “REAL bicycle shops do not sell toys & Toys ‘R Us does NOT sell real bicycles.”

Neither does Wally World, K-Mart, Target or any other discount/big box store. You want a “throw away” bicycle? See Wally World. You want a bicycle that will last & give you years of service? See a real bicycle shop. Real bicycle shops have trained sales people & trained bicycle mechanics. Your bike at Wally World is slapped together in 15 minutes OR LESS by who knows. Real bike shops have bikes that come in various “frame sizes” to insure you get one that fits. Wally World has a one-size-fits-all mentality. Wrong! I could literally bend your ear for hours on reason why NOT to buy a bicycle from a discount store.
